Costa Rica Seed Company is a company which has dedicated itself to continuous Researching and Development in order to identify the highest yielding seed. WE HAVE THE SEED!
We are seeking 10,000. hectares of marginal/unproductive land in order to expand our program and create programs for cooperatives and local farmers.

We would like a small scale production plant complete with refining capabilities in order to become the dominant producer of biodiesel from non-food crops in Central America and enter into partnerships worldwide.
We are one of the first companies to successfully grow Jatropha as biodiesel feed stock in Costa Rica with some 2 years ahead of various programs currently in place worldwide.
Our mission is to take Costa Rica off the Petroleum fuel Grid.
Biodiesel from Non-Food Crops – There are many public and private companies that have entered the emerging bio-fuels market, particularly in the United States and Western Europe. Most of these companies depend upon food crops used for feedstock and even human consumption (e.g., soy, corn, sunflower, sugar cane, palm, etc.). This diversion has caused escalation of food prices and shortages. In some instances, severe environmental damage has been caused by burning rain forests to provide land for farming. Unfortunately these food crops consume nearly as much energy as they produce.
Jatropha Curcas (not a food crop) produces 20 times as much energy compared to energy inputs required to produce biodiesel. With its global studies, The Costa Rica Seed Company wants to become the leading producer of biodiesel from Jatropha in Costa Rica to be self sustainable.
Renewable Oil Fields – Traditional oil companies must constantly search for new reserves to replace fossil fuel production. Unlike other biodiesel feed stocks, most of which are annual crops, Jatropha is a tree that grows and produces fruit for more than 50 years.
The Costa Rica Seed Company is seeking venture capital funding to increase our 100 hectare pilot program plantation which has given us the capability to grow into a Macro plantation program over the next few years.
Costa Rica has proposed to be Carbon Free by 2010. This would enable them to do so. We believe this to be the answer to accomplish that goal.
We would like to create a cooperative for local farmers, tax incentives (USA $1.00), and the cooperation from Recope is an option as well (Costa Rica refining Company)
Our plan will not affect any other program in place. We feel it would be very beneficial, because it is environmentally and economically better than Ethanol, African Palm, etc. and does not compete with the food chain.

In addition:
- It can Intercrop with other plants
- Most carbon credit capturing, Nutrients the land.
- Glycerin (soap, shampoo, lip balm, ammunition)
- Medicinal factors
- High product for Live stock
- Fertilizer (In Costa Rica its price has increased four times in the past two years)
- Toxic plant, not edible, so it works well for fencing to keep animals.
- Cosmetics
